Draughtsman

Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced LV Switchgear Draughtsman to prepare electrical and mechanical drawings for LV switchgear panels in accordance with project specifications and IEC standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare GA, fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings.
• Prepare SLDs, schematic, control wiring, and termination diagrams.
• Develop panel layouts, busbar arrangements, and component mounting drawings.
• Prepare drawings for MDB, SMDB, DB, MCC, PCC, ATS, and capacitor banks.
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams.
• Update drawings based on client comments and revisions.
• Assist with BOM and material take-off preparation.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in LV switchgear drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; EPLAN knowledge is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of LV switchgear components, Utility regulations (DEWA,ADQCC,EWE) and IEC 61439 standards.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
