Role Purpose
To support the Project Manager in leading and coordinating all civil and architecture engineering and construction activities on-site, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, contract documents, and quality standards. The Deputy Project Manager acts as the second-in-command, overseeing site operations, progress monitoring, resource planning, and stakeholder coordination, and ensures smooth project execution in alignment with Innovo Group’s operational excellence.
Key Accountabilities

Support execution of civil scope in line with schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.

Monitor site operations, productivity, and progress; resolve technical issues with engineers, subcontractors, and consultants.

Coordinate with planning team on schedule updates, resource allocation, and corrective actions for delays.

Ensure compliance with IFC drawings, specifications, QA/QC plans, and HSE standards; participate in inspections and audits.

Prepare progress reports, track KPIs, and maintain updated logs of site issues, RFIs, and approvals.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for approvals, inspections, and coordination; represent Project Manager when required.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Education: B.Sc. in Civil or Architecture Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in civil or architecture construction projects, with at least 3 years in a leadership or coordination role on large-scale construction sites
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of construction techniques, project management tools, and civil engineering best practices
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project)
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of local codes, contracts (FIDIC knowledge is a plus), and permitting processes
- Familiarity with QA/QC standards, HSE regulations, and risk mitigation practices
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
