Role Purpose

Work with the Plant Director in order to oversee and manage the daily operations of the warehouse with regard to receiving, storing, managing inventory, and distributing construction materials and equipment. The role ensures the timely and accurate movement of materials to support construction projects, adheres to safety and compliance standards, and maintains a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare of warehouse and logistics plans to support all relevant operations within the company.
  • Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including training, task allocation, and performance evaluations.
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of materials for construction projects
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment inventory.

  • Implement inventory control systems to minimize waste, prevent theft, and track material usage.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and ensure accuracy in inventory records. 
  • Oversee receiving, storing, and dispatching of construction materials and equipment.
  • Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and procurement teams to understand material needs and timelines.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of materials to construction sites as required.
  • Assist in planning for material procurement and inventory replenishment based on project timelines.
  • Ensure that all established HSE & Quality policies are administered and enforced in all areas.
  • Report all violations and resolved on time

Effective implementation of HSE Management system as per HSE procedures 

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in management, administration or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in the field operations, warehousing and logistics.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer applications especially the Microsoft suite of programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment.

Fluency in oral/written English.
