Technical Manager

Role Purpose

To manage technical engineering activities across an assigned portfolio of Innovo Infrastructure projects, leading technical engineers and ensuring design coordination meets specification and code requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead technical engineers and team leaders across assigned projects.
• Review and approve complex technical submittals and design coordination outputs.
• Resolve significant technical issues escalated from project teams.
• Mentor and develop technical engineers and team leaders.
• Monitor technical performance and submittal turnaround times across the assigned portfolio.
• Report portfolio-level technical risks and issues to the Technical Director.
• Establish design coordination protocols and clash resolution workflows for assigned projects.
• Approve significant design changes affecting cost, programme, or compliance.
• Allocate technical engineering resources across the assigned project portfolio.
• Identify resourcing gaps and recommend hiring or reallocation to the Technical Director
• Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency.
• Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10–12 years of infrastructure technical engineering experience, with 3+ years in a management role
