Senior Technical Engineer

Role Purpose

Provide Structural Technical support for construction purpose

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare shop drawing log and material log with schedule as per project planned schedule.
• Review all structural shop drawings for submissions.
• Review all tender drawings and specification of the project.
• Review and coordinate with structural subcontractors to submit the material submittals and shop drawings on target submission dates.
• Coordinate with operation team for any structural issues on site.
• Coordinate with other departments for variations of the new design drawings.
• Coordinate with engineering to obtain approval for shop drawings and material submittals.
• Manage structural team in terms of productivity and quality.
• Coordinate with CTO office for any structural matters.

• Ensure that all established HSE & Quality policies are administered and enforced in all areas.
• Report all violations and resolved on time
• Effective implementation of HSE Management system as per HSE procedures

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years significant Industrial, commercial, residential construction experience,
• 5 years’ work experience in Gulf companies engaged in the field of Building construction.
• With competence in Construction Management skills, motivated, has strong leadership, able to encourage subordinates and other work groups to work as a team.   
• With knowledge of Structural codes.
• Excellent technical background and skills in industrial environment.   
• Able to control a multi‐national workforce in a dynamic situation.
• Possess negotiation and influence skills, innovative, creative thinker, flexible and excellent organizer.

Has excellent oral & written communication in English and interpersonal skills.
