Project Manager

Role Purpose

To plan, execute, and deliver joinery and fitout projects from award to handover, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for all project-related activities. 

Key Accountabilities

• Project Planning & Execution 
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for assigned projects. 
• Manage day-to-day project execution, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. 
• Budget & Cost Management 
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures; identify and mitigate cost overruns. 
• Prepare monthly project cost reports and forecasts. 
• Team Coordination 
• Lead site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors assigned to the project. 
• Coordinate with the factory/workshop to ensure materials and components are delivered on schedule. 
• Client & Stakeholder Management 
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and contractors on assigned projects. 
• Manage client expectations and resolve issues promptly to maintain relationships. 
• Quality & Safety 
• Ensure all work is executed in compliance with quality standards and safety regulations. 
• Conduct site inspections and address snags and defects during execution and at handover. 
• Documentation & Reporting 
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including drawings, submittals, and variation orders. 
• Provide regular progress reports to the Sector Head and management

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field 
• Minimum 7-10 years of project management experience in the joinery, fitout, or construction industry 
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is advantageous 
• Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing and installation processes 
• Excellent client management and communication skills 
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera) 
• Experience in the GCC market is preferred
