Draughtsman

Role Purpose

To prepare and update infrastructure project drawings and layouts in compliance with design specifications, authority requirements, and Innovo standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings for infrastructure projects.
•  Coordinate with engineers for design updates and clarifications.
• Review IFC drawings and highlight discrepancies against tender contract drawings.
•  Ensure drawings meet project and authority standards.
• Maintain and organize drawing records.
• Support other technical teams with drafting requirements.
• Prepare coordinated utility layouts and identify clashes between wet and dry utilities.
• Prepare plan and profile drawings, cross sections, grading layouts, utility profiles, and road corridor drawings
• Familiarity with Navisworks, BIM coordination, and federated model review.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Diploma in Drafting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure projects including roads, storm water, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, telecom, street lighting, and utility corridors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (if available) and relevant softwares.
• Knowledge of UAE standards and codes.
