Technical Electrical Team Leader - Ras El Hekma

Role Purpose

The Electrical Team Leader is responsible for leading and managing electrical engineering activities across construction projects. This role ensures that electrical systems are designed, coordinated, and executed in accordance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards while supervising a team of engineers and coordinating with other disciplines.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and supervise the electrical engineering team on assigned projects.
• Oversee the design, review, and implementation of electrical systems (power, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, etc.).
• Ensure all electrical works comply with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to resolve design and site issues.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Monitor site progress and ensure timely execution of electrical works.
• Provide technical support to site teams and resolve on-site issues.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record keeping.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and team members.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to avoid delays or quality issues.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in electrical engineering within construction projects.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design and installation.
• Familiarity with local and international electrical codes and standards.
