Senior Electrical Site Engineer - Giza

Role Purpose

The Senior Electrical Site Engineer is responsible for managing, supervising, and leading all on-site electrical work, ensuring they are carried out efficiently, safely, and according to design specifications and project timelines. The role involves coordination with stakeholders, overseeing junior engineers and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure proper execution according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Plan and coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and other departments to ensure smooth work progress.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and construction schedules to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Monitor resources (labor, materials, equipment) on-site and ensure optimal utilization.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations and company safety policies.
• Address technical issues and site constraints promptly to avoid delays or quality compromises.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and submit them to project stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input to resolve site-related challenges.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and respond to site queries (RFIs) as needed.
• Support project closeout by ensuring punch lists, as-built drawings, and handover documentation are completed.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in site construction, with exposure to large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, project execution, and technical drawings.
• Solid knowledge of construction materials, codes, and safety standards.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site tasks simultaneously.
