Senior BIM Architecture Engineer

Role Purpose

The Senior BIM Architecture Engineer is responsible for leading the development, coordination, and quality assurance of architectural BIM models across projects. This role involves advanced modeling, interdisciplinary coordination, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring compliance with BIM standards and project requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Review and validate models, drawings, and documentation to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to resolve clashes and design conflicts.
• Perform advanced clash detection and oversee coordination processes.
• Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), standards, and project specifications.
• Manage and track model updates based on design changes, RFIs, and site feedback.
• Oversee the production of detailed drawings, shop drawings, and deliverables.
• Support quantity take-offs and data extraction from BIM models.
• Mentor and guide junior BIM architects and modelers.
• Participate in client and consultant coordination meetings.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of BIM standards, templates, and workflows.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in BIM architectural modeling and coordination.
• Strong expertise in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD).
• Proven experience in leading or supervising BIM tasks or teams.
• In-depth knowledge of architectural design, detailing, and construction processes.
• Familiarity with international BIM standards and workflows (LOD, BEP, IFC).
