Mechanical Technical Team Leader- Ras El Hekma

Role Purpose
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design review, technical coordination, quality assurance, and site supervision of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering standards, construction practices, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead mechanical design coordination with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Review and validate mechanical engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Provide technical oversight during design, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Oversee subcontractors’ work to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
- Resolve technical issues that arise during construction and offer innovative solutions.
- Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Participate in value engineering and cost optimization processes.
- Support procurement by evaluating technical offers and vendor qualifications.
- Conduct site inspections and issue non-compliance reports when necessary.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff.
