Estimation Engineer

Role Purpose

To support the company's lighting solutions by preparing technical and financial offers, liaising with manufacturers, updating internal records and portfolios, and ensuring project needs are met with high-quality, application-appropriate lighting products.

Key Accountabilities

Offer Preparation:

• Develop comprehensive technical and financial proposals tailored to project needs.
• Ensure proposals meet project specifications and client expectations.

Manufacturer Communication:

• Liaise with lighting manufacturers for product inquiries, pricing, and technical support.
• Stay updated on the latest product developments and innovations.

Portfolio Management:

• Update and maintain the company’s product portfolio with the latest offerings and technical specifications.
• Ensure product literature and documentation are current and accurate.

Project Documentation Review:

• Analyze received project documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Request additional information when necessary to clarify requirements.

Application Expertise:

• Provide product selection recommendations suitable for different applications and project-specific needs.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards and client specifications.

Project Log Updates:

• Maintain up-to-date records of project statuses and progress.
• Report on project milestones and flag potential delays or issues.

Customer and Project Support:

• Respond promptly and accurately to client inquiries and comments.
• Address technical concerns and provide solutions to satisfy project needs.

Innovation & Value Creation

• Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency.
• Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 Years of experience in a similar position.
• In-depth knowledge of lighting products and brands.
• Familiarity with technical requirements for various applications, including commercial, industrial, and decorative lighting.
• Proficiency in technical documentation review and preparation.
• Awareness of market trends and emerging technologies in lighting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Auto-cad software
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
