BIM Architecture Engineer

Role Purpose

A skilled BIM Architectural Engineer will develop, manage, and coordinate Building Information Modeling (BIM) for architectural works across construction projects. The role involves creating accurate 3D models, ensuring design coordination, and supporting project teams with digital workflows throughout the project lifecycle. 

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for architectural systems using software such as Revit.
• Prepare architectural drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate architectural models with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to detect and resolve clashes.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project standards, specifications, and BIM execution plans (BEP).
• Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure smooth information flow.
• Perform clash detection using tools like Navisworks and propose solutions.
• Update models based on site changes and design revisions.
• Extract quantities and support cost estimation when required.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of BIM files.
• Support site teams with technical drawings and model interpretation

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in BIM and architectural design within construction projects.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit is mandatory; Navisworks preferred).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
• Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary BIM models.
• Familiarity with international BIM standards and workflows (LOD, BEP, etc.).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
