BIM Architecture Engineer

Role Purpose
The BIM Architectural Engineer is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating architectural models and drawings using BIM technologies. The role ensures design accuracy, coordination with other disciplines, and compliance with project standards and company BIM protocols.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop detailed and accurate 3D architectural models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
- Prepare coordinated architectural drawings, sections, elevations, and schedules.
- Maintain model integrity, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Update models to reflect design changes and as-built conditions.
- Collaborate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams to resolve design clashes and coordination issues.
- Participate in interdisciplinary coordination meetings and contribute to clash detection and resolution processes (using Navisworks or similar tools).
- Ensure architectural BIM models are fully integrated with other disciplines.
- Follow and implement company BIM standards, templates, and naming conventions.
- Contribute to maintaining and developing the architectural BIM library and content.
- Perform regular model checks and quality control reviews to ensure compliance with project BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Support site teams and design managers with model-based information and drawings.
- Assist in implementing new BIM workflows, tools, and technologies.
- Provide feedback on model coordination, design efficiency, and constructability.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in architectural design and BIM modeling within the construction industry.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit (Architecture) and Navisworks; knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM 360 / ACC is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and construction processes.
- Familiar with BIM standards (BIM Level 2, ISO 19650) and coordination workflows.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
