BIM Engineer

Role Purpose

To deliver BIM-based technical support for infrastructure, roads, and marine works, ensuring accurate design coordination, clash detection, and drawing preparation in compliance with Innovo and client standards.

Key Accountabilities

 Develop Civil 3D drawings as per BIM requirements.
Conduct clash detection for utility networks and propose solutions.
Prepare and review shop drawings, updating as per revised IFC designs.
Coordinate with subcontractors for timely submission of deliverables.
Coordinate roads, sewer, storm water, irrigation, potable water, telecom and street lighting models.
Align drawings with road levels, utilities, and site conditions.
Guide draughtsman on productivity and quality requirements.
 Prepare and review as-built drawings for approval.
Enforce HSE and quality compliance in technical outputs.
Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
 Develop and maintain federated BIM models.
Verify model accuracy against IFC and approved shop drawings.
The technical lead responsible for Civil 3D models, federated models, clash detection, utility coordination, BIM standards, drawing production support, and management of drafting resources.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

-Bachelor’s in civil or architectural engineering. (Preferably Civil for infrastructure)
-3–4 years’ BIM experience in roads/infrastructure projects, preferably in the GCC.
- Familiarity with UAE authority requirements.
- Strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Expert knowledge of Civil 3D, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD and BIM workflows.- Software expertise in Civil 3D, Navisworks Manage, ACC, BIM 360, InfraWorks (preferred), AutoCAD, Revit (basic understanding preferred).
