Logistics Officer

Role Purpose

To support logistics operations for Innovo MEP, processing delivery documentation and coordinating transportation of materials and equipment to project sites. 

Key Accountabilities

• Process delivery notes, transportation requests, and shipment tracking records. 
• Coordinate with drivers and transport providers for site deliveries. 
• Documentation 
• Maintain logistics records, delivery logs, and customs documentation files. 
• Ensure delivery and customs paperwork is filed accurately and accessible for audit. 
• Issue Reporting 
• Report delivery delays or discrepancies to the Logistics Coordinator. 
• Follow up with transport providers to resolve documentation or delivery discrepancies. 
• Site Coordination 
• Confirm delivery schedules with site teams and store keepers ahead of shipment arrival. 
• Support unloading and handover of materials at site, verifying quantities against delivery notes. 
• Vehicle & Equipment Tracking 
• Track transport vehicle assignments and utilisation to support efficient delivery planning. 
• Maintain records of vehicle maintenance schedules and availability for logistics planning. 
• Innovation & Value Creation 
• Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency.
